SOLUTION 1 –

Restart the Windows File Explorer (QUICK FIX)

    1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager

    1. Find Windows Explorer

    1. Right Click and Select Restart

    1. Now check if file explorer flashing stops.


SOLUTION 2 –

Disable file explorer preview pan

    1. Open File Explorer

    1. Click ViewShow

    1. Turn OFF Preview Pane

    1. Restart the pc


SOLUTION 3 –

Run system File checker (SFC) Internet Connection is required for system file Check.

    1. Press Windows + S, Type CMD

    1. Right Click Command PromptRun as administrator

    1. Type the Command Below and Press Enter:

sfc /scannow

4. Wait for the Scan to Complete: 0 to 100 %
5. Restart your Computer


SOLUTION 4 –

Fix WSL VPN Network Issue – If WSL is not working after connecting to a VPN:

    1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator

    1. Run these commands one by one:

wsl --shutdown
netsh winsock reset

3. Restart Your PC
4. Open WSL Again and Check the connection


SOLUTION 5 –

UNINSTALL KB5072033 INSTALLED UPDATE (Temporary Fix)

    1. Go to Windows Setting → Windows update

    1. Click on Update History

    1. Select Uninstall updates

    1. Find KB5072033

    1. Click Uninstall

    1. After Uninstall Restart Your PC
